The Annual Hibiscus Festival is three days of celebrating and sharing the unique history and character of Punta Gorda and its connection to the hibiscus, as well as to one of the world’s most renowned hybridizers, Harry R. Goulding. Punta Gorda is historically known as the City of Hibiscus.
The festival features sweet and savory food vendors, live music, flowers and plants, arts and crafts, and most of all: fun!
This year’s festival will begin with the traditional kick off on Friday evening. The Friday evening concert runs 6–10 pm, so come enjoy music under the stars. Please feel free to bring a chair or blanket. Come back Saturday and Sunday to listen to the music, enjoy great food, shop treasures of all kinds, and enjoy the atmosphere.
